The design of the Omni One store, which is dedicated to the sale of natural health foods, was developed based on the experience of shopping at classic dry-goods stores. We attempted to evoke the trustworthiness that bulk sale markets provide, by allowing shoppers to get close to the raw materials’ textures, aromas, and quality.

A dark color palette was chosen, with touches of an industrial aesthetic. The majority of the furniture was fabricated in our workshops with oak salvaged from demolition. The basis was to maintain the design and aesthetic exactly as it was for real antique shelving: drawers with handles, many compartments, and angles that would contribute to the exhibition of each food. The rest of the furniture was found at antique markets, and ultimately enhances the authenticity of a classic shop atmosphere.
